About Us
The beginning : Stuart J Warrington & Co was first founded in Macclesfield in 1983 by Stuart Warrington. There are two main parts to the business 1) the design, supply and installation of fitted kitchens and 2) a plumbing supplies trade counter serving the needs of local plumbers and other tradesmen.
Prior to starting the business Stuart Warrington had trained and worked as a plumber. This background not only assists trade customers but also ensures that the bespoke kitchen designs we produce for our clients not only look good on paper but work in practice.
Today : The business continues to operate in the same way to this day. Each side of the business complements the other - the trade counter means we continue to have strong links with local tradespeople whom we can call upon when carrying out kitchen installations and our kitchen clients often return to us when they need a new bathroom or central heating system.
Stuart's knowledge of designing and installing fitted kitchens has evolved over the years as new methods and materials have come to market. The result of the practical trade background means that our kitchens are designed and installed with the attention to detail that you would only expect from experienced tradesmen.
Stuart continues to work in the business day to day and was joined by his son Nick 6 years ago. Nick now leads the business and brings construction experience, innovative design skill and first class project management to every kitchen. On the design team Nick is supported by Jenny who has a background in art and design and delivers kitchen designs with creativity and flair. Mark manages the trade counter and Nick's sister, Lynsey, provides accounting and project management support. As a family run business we are incredibly proud to provide the same high level of service that we always have.
